BusinessWire: "Dr. Henry “Nick” Nicholas, III Helps Build 'Gordon’s House' with Habitat for Humanity"

Construction began in earnest today on Gordon’s House, being built by Habitat for Humanity of Orange County and the Episcopal Diocese of Orange County in memory of the late Episcopal priest Reverend Canon Gordon B. Yeaton, Jr.

Dr. Henry Nicholas, III attended the event and praised both the Diocese and Habitat for their contribution to families and the community. The Henry T. Nicholas, III Foundation contributed $100,000 toward construction of Gordon’s House. Since 2007, the Henry T. Nicholas, III Foundation has granted $600,000 to Habitat for Humanity.

“What is taking place here is truly a miracle,” said Dr. Nicholas, the Broadcom Corp. co-founder who established the foundation in 2006. “As I have said, in God’s universe there are no coincidences, only miracles. I want to thank the Episcopal Church and Habitat for Humanity for creating this miracle and allowing our Foundation to be a part of it.”
